H-E-B's first hardcover anniversary cookbook called for extensive logistical planning. After conducting a statewide recipe contest, we selected 190 recipes out of more than 1,000 submissions, and obtained contributions from celebrities as well. We tested and edited each recipe, then worked with contestants to collect head shots from as many of them as possible to publish alongside their recipes.
